adamicoarts - I appreciate the fact that you took THREE characters and morphed them together. I can tell that you put a lot of thought into it, the posing, the fusion looks like she’s popping out of the frame. It looks like a really cool poster, and I think it’s pretty neat that their fusion dance looks like dancing around a fire. A lot of great elements rolled into one! 

ravennowithtea - Really like the fact that you included a background, an ocean background no less! Aquamarine and Bloodstone are drawn beautifully, and It really feels like they’re down in the bottom of the ocean. All of the water reflections bouncing off everything really makes the image really grounded. Those water chains are awesome.

corrsollarobot - You took a humanoid gemsona and mixed it with a robotic gemsona, and it looks baller. I don’t think I’ve seen a gemsona looking so colorful and I really love it! I could instantly tell who her fusion was made of, with the shoulder discs and her arm drapes.

To everyone who entered this contest, Thank you. I had 74 Entries, and that is for the first contest Doustravaganza’s had! It was an amazing turnout and produced a ton of kickass art. I hope that anyone who entered got a good bump in exposure. Even though there is no contest now, if you draw anything with my fan characters in it (does not have to be SU) please make sure to submit the link to the club OR make sure one of the first five tags of your post contains the tag “dou hong“

A second contest will be announced after Anime Expo and Comic-Con are over, and it will be Gemsona related again. So keep on the lookout!
