+Kingdom Hearts II+

.... What's this? A picture that's not even remotely Teentitans related? It's so strange, but welcome. XD

My friend Emily is a big fan of Kingdom Hearts, and when I said big, I actually mean like #1 fan. Obsessed much? Her birthday is coming up... (*cough* it's actually in about two months ^^') but I was at her house after prom this weekend, and I got introduced to the game. I watched the beginning intro film, and it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! The theme song was awesome and the characters were so cute! So, ah... Emily, if you see this, HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY! If you're not Emily and you still know her... SHHHHHHHHH!! Don't tell! That means you LEAH!!

I also watched Advent Children at her house. XD The animation was kick-ass, but one thing I found a little bit tedious was the battle scenes. XD very creative, but sometimes they dragged on. AND NO BLOOD!? I was a little disapointed, I mean, when Cloud got a knife through his chest, I saw a little blood patch. Then again, I got finished watching Saving Private Ryan, and maybe I'm still caught up in the fervor.

XD for some reason, games like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts never really enticed me to play. I'm more into racing/battle games, but it's always fun to do fanart. Kairi and Sora were the only characters that I recognized in this game. To be honest, I thought Roxus was Riku with a different hairdo and different clothes. -_- Sad, I know... XD Kairi is the one that I really liked. Her costume was so cool, and she's one of the most beautiful VG characters I have ever seen! I was kind of indifferent to Roxus, because well, I had no idea who he was. XD He'll probably grow on me though.

I decided to go with a simple pose, because there was no way that I could make battle poses and still make them look good. Sora was the one that I spent the most time on, Roxus the least. Let's just say I've tried to keep the VG style as best I could.

I think total, it took me about 10 hours. I've been trying to find out methods to work fast, but still get a final finished product. ^^

I really hope you guys like it! I don't usually wander into the realm of VG, but when I do, it's a good thing. (nrgg.... channeling Martha Stewart!)
